Zephyr's Read-a-Thon for Waverly Elementary

Dear Friends and Family,

My name is Zephyr; I am an honor student at Waverly Elementary. Waverly students are serious about our success and our future, so we are conducting our first Read-a-thon to promote reading across the curriculum and raise funds for our schools hands on learning projects. From February 8th to February 21st, every ten minutes I read counts as a “unit”. Each unit counts as one pledge donation. For example; if I read ten units overall and you had pledged .50 cents per unit, my school will get $5 from you. We will take pledges from anywhere – please see the DIRECTIONS below. Funds need to be in by March 1st! You can also make a one-time donation if you prefer! Use the link below. 

Directions for Read-A-Thon Pledging

1. Pick an amount you will donate per unit read and leave a comment on this post. Make sure you include your email address in your comment below so we know who to contact for the PayPal funds. Or please e-mail me the pledge amount to bearwestmusic@gmail.com. 

2. On 2/22 we will let you know how many units Zephyr has read from 2/8 to 2/21 via your email.

3. You PayPal (OR you can send in the money OR if you’re local give).

4. Zephyr’s family will deliver the funds to his school.
